01 - Electrical design
While there are many technical considerations in designing a temporary power system, the philosophy behind each one is simple: create safe and effective systems that meet client objectives. We define an effective system as one that operates efficiently to minimise power consumption and installation time – which in turn reduces client costs and reduces risk.
A scalable system architecture purpose-built for the Australian event industry, supported by proven design-and-construct processes for temporary infrastructure environments.
Our own electrical overlay design software, tailored to each brief by an experienced team rather than re-engineered from scratch every event.
An event-specific app for users of site power to report a concern or fault directly to our on-site electrician or serving team, improving response times and user experience.

03 - Broadcast power
Broadcast Power by EVENTelec is our dedicated division for live television and broadcast: turnkey TV compounds, media centres and the redundancy design that keeps a broadcast on air. It is led by Jono Riley, our Head of Broadcast Services, with 28 years in live television and broadcast operations.
We design, install, commission and service broadcast compound electrical overlay – from primary switchboard infrastructure through to complex technical media centres. Recent work includes the Australian Formula One international broadcast, the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, and the live power supply and redundancy for Big Brother and Australian Idol.

04 - Safety & compliance
The compliance of an event and the safety of everyone on site is our primary consideration – and all our systems are developed accordingly. We implement both the NECA National Safety Management System and our own safety management software, with induction sign-ons, pre-start registers and installation certificates digitally logged against Australian Electrical Standards and codes.
Every EVENTelec team member holds the required electrical and industry licences. We hold electrical licences in Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, and carry $20 million in public liability cover.
